The Traveller Mayday Mayday event is a virtual gaming convention that takes place on May 1st (May Day). It is a day for honoring the history and future of the Traveller sci-fi role-playing game including all its editions and spin-offs. link Badges are a whole $3.14 USD (this covers the Tabletop Events management fees), and then you will be able to get game tickets – FOR FREE!

There are a lot of events, including online games, interviews, prizes, and demo games of Squadron Strike: Traveller (easy-to-play 3D Traveller space combat right in your browser). Almost all of the games are over Discord, which is a free download (you can also run Discord in a browser window, but audio is often inferior and video is frequently a lot worse).

Squadron Strike: Traveller runs at noon Mountain time (-6 UTC) on Sunday, May 1 (2pm Eastern, 11am Pacific). link
Voice and screensharing is on the Ad Astra Games Discord server: discord.gg/jUxAMp2Szc

Dang, wish I had known about this yesterday.

Yeah, whoever was in charge of promoting the event needed either a better plan or better execution. I would definitely have been in, rats.

Sorry! We weren't in charge of promoting the convention, we just decided to throw up an announcement on our own …

It was publicized pretty widely on Traveller sites and groups, and the turnout was really good. Be sure to keep an eye on CyborgPrime's schedule.

Oh, is anyone interested in Traveller space combat in specific, or are you just looking for Traveller in general?
