Just picked the a/m book (English translation) up via AMAZON. It's a very interesting and insightful account by a French infantryman 1915-1918 on the Western Front. Consider it the French analogue to Ernst Junger's "STORM OF STEEL".

It's hard to find English language translations of WW1 French references. If you know of any other WW1-oriented English translations of French works, please pass them along. I'd be interested.
