Howdy from Texas Fellers,
I know it's kind of late, but I wanted to say Happy Anzac Day to you all.
My father did two tours of VietNam in the 1960s as a pilot. Sadly, he died in 1971, so I never got to hear much about his time there.
I do, however, recall him saying that the Australian/New Zealand soldiers were some of the most solid soldiers he ever met and that he always felt better when they were around.
I hope y'all had a g'day and have a better one tomorrow!
Michael

Thanks Michael, it was a great ANZAC Day across Australia. Lots of crowds after 2 years of COVID lockdowns, lots of dawn services in every city and country town. And the overseas sites at Gallipoli in Turkey, Villers Bretonneaux in France, London, Port Moresby in Papua Nu Gini, Hellfire Pass in Thailand and so on were all well attended.

Lest we forget.

Yes, the Anzaks provided some of the best troops in WW1 and 2, together with our Canadian and Gurkha friends.

Well done lads!
