I made this doll house, from scratch mostly 30 years ago for my niece. She has a daughter the same age and recently got it back for a few repairs, her daughter hasn't seen it I think but will be getting it soon.

I made the panels in great room, doors and windows, roof shingles are cedar shims from work and bay roof and valleys are copper

That's a well-done construct. And it is nice that your niece can pass it down to her daughter.

Without the furniture, she can play real estate agent as well.

Easter dinner heard there is some furniture stored somewhere. And the open end is how I got it back, will get one of repairs soon. Also got a kitchen set and a grandfather clock was stuffed inside the chimney, no idea how it got there, but had to take off top to get it out, so fixed it up.

My 12" GI Joe's never had such nice furnishings, when I was a kid! That is really superb workmanship. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

A mystery, this grandfather's clock was in the chimney, my niece thought it was Lego in their but turned out a tiny skull, broken door house furniture and this clock. The clock face came out but the clock was too big to fit in either fireplace or opening in attic. Suspect in its long construction it got in there but not sure.
