A bit of a WiP, I picked up the army off eBay for a descent price, and elected to just touch up the existing paint job rather than strip to bare metal, which would have been a pain with all the spears. Its something of a Heinz 57 there are figures from at least four manufacturers I think though I only recognise 3 with any certainly – Essex, Feudal Castings, and some Irregular (not pictured AFIK). I don't know if anyone recognises the others? Definitely leans to towards the later end of the armies time span. Need to find some good character figures, ecclesiastical-types, baggage and camp followers to round it out. Need to sort out some banners/standards. And may be give then another coat of varnish in the hope that it sorts out the frosting I can see on the photos.

In the second photo, there are some holding a two-handed sword with shield on the back; those may be Falcon? |
