Always liked the rugged look of the Land Rover.

What Adventure Team doesn't need a Land Rover? That should serve them well.

I once heard that Land Rover sold a 4-5 gallon container as an option. You put in water, detergent, and your dirty clothes, strapped it to the roof, then spent the day bouncing around country back roads. Next day, put in fresh water for the rinse, then hang out to dry, and you have clean laundry.
Not sure how true this is, but it might be fun to search for options and mods for Land Rovers to see if you need to add anything to your model.

"Since I am not doing the GI Joe Adventure Team in 1/72nd scale…"

I think autocorrect turned your intended "now" into "not", resulting in the contrafactual sentence partially quoted here.

That is a very nice Land Rover. It reminded me of the Matchbox Land Rover I had as a boy.

Good catch LIC, but it is just a possible it was my fat fingers typing.

Grelber interesting item, I will check it out.

Thanks guys, I think it will be pretty cool.

Very good description of the washing machine for a Land Rover! It does make you wonder what else people may have hooked up to their Land Rovers.
I found tracked Land Rovers and a floating Land Rover. In the Yemen, the SAS used a subdued pink Land Rover, fitted with machine guns and grenade launchers.
One of the Jane's books (Fighting Vehicles? Land Systems?) showed different military configurations of the Land Rover--like the Jeep, it was just a really versatile vehicle.
