After finishing the final Visigoth heavy cav unit for my Visigoth army, I have dived into painting up its historical opponent – the Late Romans. This has been a long and slow process as the Muse doesn't often visit. I started the Visigoths back in 2017 and have only completed enough units to field the minimum # of infantry units for the "warband" option, though I now have the 1000 pt max of all the other troops.
So on to the Romans! I finished a unit of Heavy cav last month and now have completed two units of mounted skirmishers as well as the general and a leader. Progress continues on a second unit of heavy cav.
Meanwhile I await the shield transfers from theBaggagetrain.com.
I hope they fit on the Old Glory 10mm shields.

WMA, Warmaster Ancients I assume. An excellent set of rules

Indeed.
I get together with a friend most every 4th saturday for a game. He has the Vikings, Saxons, and Normans, while I am working on Fall of Rome period armies. This saturday we are meeting @ 1 pm at the reborn Phoenix Games in Fridley MN. Gawkers, kibitzers, and hangers on are always welcome.
