Well, if you haven't gotten the email from Scott Landis, room booking for Fall-In (4-6 November) at the Wyndham in Lancaster begins today at 0900…or does it? I just went to the wyndham booking page through the link provided on the Fall-In website and booked my room…at 0455 EDT. So, if you're going, maybe you don't want to wait till the website slows down due to too much traffic. Get 'er done! |

Persist. I couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone at 9:10 EST, but by 10:00 EST they were functioning, helpful and polite. Many things have changed at the Host, Old North. Power and climate control are more reliable, and the kitchen is acceptable to the health inspectors. In return, we have the ugliest carpet known to man, wallpaper not far behind and an extra $40 USD a night for a room. It's a decent trade. Personally, I'd have gone for $50 USD a night and carpeting that didn't look like torn up underlayment, but not everyone would agree. |

Piepenbrinnk…I am fully aware that the Host is rennovated and in fact I predicted here some months ago that Fall In would be moved there. I didn't expect anyone to pick up the phone but the website was a dumpster fire…used the HMGS links, my own links, etc. |

Robert, double G has a trailer he transports his goods to the cons and after emptying it he will rent it to u for $40.00 USD usd per night as it does not have carpet. Trying to save you some cash. You do need to bring your own sleeping bag and bucket. |

But I forgot! Double G posted a long piece about how he made more money NOT going to conventions. Probably just as well I phoned in at 10:00 1st day and reserved the room. I wouldn't want him to take the financial hit for my sake. |
