"…To get control over the area 1000 points armies of Cybertronic and Dark Legion were sent to battle. We tried to play fun game so we both avoided fielding overpowered models and units. Whole that powergaming crap was fun like 20 years ago…"

The Eradicator Death Droid, how we laughed at that model and cried when it buckled at the ankles under its own weight mid game. Definitely a fun game with some very poor models mixed in amongst some classics.

It brings back good memories but it definitely felt like it became a victim if it's own success and power creep, there was a time this was bigger than 40k at the local club. I never touched the remake, the models looked nice but the casts let them down for me.

Thanks for sharing, I am wondering what happened to my original rulebook, I am still convinced my Mum binned it when I was still at home :)
