If you've been following the news, you might have heard about violence related to the current elections in the Philippines. Eight individuals were hurt in a shootout between rival political families or rido in the Malabang town of Lanao del Sur over the weekend. link Editor Gwen could hear the gunfire, but she was far enough away to be safe (though scared). |
