How Much Equipment Detail Do You Like on Your Miniatures?

50% said "just enough equipment detail to allow for customizing"

25% said "lots of equipment detail – packs, blankets, side arms, etc."

14% said "just a rifle, pike or main weapon"

I care not how much but fragility is an issue. Mirrors and such are too fragiles for regular play. In WW2 I have often woundered there are lots of pictures with so much camoflagre you could just do a box covered in vegitation with a gun pointing out. That may be too much for some.

I've noticed a serious trend of interest in unrealistic kit for miniatures and models. Realism has been seated in the back, and given the stink-eye to be quiet. LOL!

For me, the less gear I have to paint (or ignore…), the better. I view my mini's at arm's length, 98% of the time. I paint for the 98%, not the 2%. Others have, and are entitled to, their own opinions, whether we agree with one another, or not. Cheers!
