I just recently received my 15mm Battle Honors ACW miniatures. I was wondering what others out there are compatible, infantry, artillery, and of course my favorite Calvary. For 15mm I am going to use the Fire and Fury rules. For 10mm I am using Mr. Lincoln's War and Rebellion miniatures. The 15mm I know about are Old Glory, Essex, Musket, and of course Battle Honors.
Thanks! zonk76 |

What you think matches is a matter of taste, but take a look at my website where I do side-by-side reviews of figures with "police line up" style photos. deepfriedhappymice.com |

I know what you mean. The BH sculpts are very nice, but they have only so many poses. And if you want a Union regiment all in kepis and sack coats, you have to get several bags since the union have a mix of slouch and kepi and frock, sack, and shell jackets. FWIW i have a mix of Musket, Stone Mountain, Essex and BH on the table and at three feet they look fine. In fact the differences in height and hat sizes only add to the effect. For compatibility, I myself would lean towards Stone Mountain and Freikorps (which are a tad smaller and the SM are nice sculpts but the rifles are more like two by fours and shorter). |

It looked like Battle Honors and Old Glory and Musket would be a good match, I like Essex, but I think they are pretty small compared to the other ones. Since I am using two different scales for two different rule sets, I think I am going to get a couple of packs from different companies. It also seems that there is a wide range of artillery available from musket miniatures, so I will probably use their artillery sets. |
