We sing the praises of Ukranians who cobble together civilian technology and launch amazing drone attacks. Why is this not much the same? It seems people want a bloated weapons program in every country!

It's an interesting look under the hood that these reasonably low-tech machines are proving so useful.
Apparently it's well known that they use standard Canon SLR cameras en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orlan-10
There's a video of Ukrainians using a hobbyist drone to drop a couple of RPG projectiles on a Russian T72
