…Having planted the explosives in a certain place, the Ukrainian Special Forces operatives waited for the Russian troops, who unsuspectingly drove to meet their death. The bridge, along with the Russian equipment, was blown up according to a specific plan, destroying the occupying forces' entire convoy…

Apparently a Tiger armoured vehicle, one KamAZ truck, and three Ural trucks in the convoy.

Five vehicles is not a particularly large convoy. However, with the bridge blown up there won't be any more convoys moving up that way until an engineer unit shows up to reconstruct a bridge.

Too bad about the bridge. Infrastructure is expensive to repair or replace.

Regardless, any losses to enemy forces no matter how small is a victory. We were taught to blow up the nearside of the bridge so it will be quicker to repair/use an AVLB, etc., when we counter-attacked. link

Well, if you must blow the bridge, better to do it with as many of the enemy on it as you can hope for.

Well done.
