Very nice. I need to crack on with mine and will use yours for inspiration.

Slightly disappointed though not to see some ten foot long model aircraft carriers :-)

Could I ask what the carrier platoon orbat would have been in an infantry battalion training in Britain circa 1942?

I presume the crew are metal from one source or another – perhaps AB?

Very nice! Great work with the crews. I just finished off two Canadian infantry battalions for Rapid Fire with brigade HQ and artillery OP – did not realize just how many carriers you need! I also used the PSC carriers – in my case, 9 of them

Very nice!

Back when the only plastic carriers were from Airfix, I modified three of them for a friend, building them as armed with the .303 Vickers. The fiddliest part was the condensation hoses.

In exchange, he gave me more Carrier kits. My ambition was to refight the 1941 attack on 3rd Indian Motorised at Mechili, which I don't think we ever actually did. Instead, I ended up with enough carriers that I could paint versions in Caunter, Malta camouflage, desert, and Tunisia/southern Europe style.
