The Canadian Northwest Frontier was settled with a lower level of violence than in the US but there was conflict. The four day Battle of Batoche in May 1885 provides a different setting for Victorian Little Wars and the Wild West.
I have been collecting figures for this engagement for some time and recently played out a couple of games.
A complete scenario for the last day of Batoche is on my website at link
A battle report is on my blog at link
Wargames Illustrated will be featuring and article on this little known campaign in the near future.
