The Canadian Northwest Frontier was settled with a lower level of violence than in the US but there was conflict. The four day Battle of Batoche in May 1885 provides a different setting for Victorian Little Wars and the Wild West. I have been collecting figures for this engagement for some time and recently played out a couple of games. A complete scenario for the last day of Batoche is on my website at linkA battle report is on my blog at linkWargames Illustrated will be featuring and article on this little known campaign in the near future. |
