Jean de Châlon, Prince of Orange and his uncle Hugues de Châlon, Lord of Château-Guyon. Two interesting personalities involved in the War of the Burgundian Succession.

To learn more about them, check out the latest post on my Full Harness blog.

I am a simple Dutchman, I see "Prince of Orange" and I look.

I was thinking of Willem the Silent and not something about the Burgundian Succession. It's a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

Nice job on the painting!

>>I am a simple Dutchman

Never met one of those!
[Perhaps except the guy who rushed up to me, the obvious new tourist in Amsterdam, offering some dope or drugs of some kind.. about 10am or so- eek!]

>>To learn more about them,
Hell I nearly fell asleep, that's a complex tale…
Good ideas for my motley crue however…
