I'm in the US and don't want to send overseas for miniatures. Please recommend models for a 15mm jacobite force and a government force for the 1715 uprising. Thanks.

How about Old Glory 15s:

My friend has a number of these that we've been using for our weekly Thursday afternoon games. They look very nice when painted and based.

Thanks Jim, I've seen these online but not in person. Are they oversized 15s like many of Old Glory's lines?

Jeeves: the OG Jacobites mix well with Essex, and Minifigs. There is a smidge of difference but I like to add the Essex ECW highlanders in shirts with my OG figures and I put them on the same base. This cuts down on the amount of plaid I have to paint!

I should add that (IIRC) the OG highlanders are in both the great and short styles of kilts. I forget when the latter became prevalent (if it was before or after the '15).
