It appears that Kallistra and Epic are mostly compatible – the horses in Kallistra are definitely smaller than Epic – don't look like they'd mix in same units, but could be on table together. Interestingly, Peter Pig 15mm cavalry look the same size as the Epic cavalry – horses same, riders a bit smaller in Epic. As the Epic are 15mm foot to top of hat, I'm wondering if Essex 15mm might be compatible also, they are on the "smaller" or perhaps "traditional" 15mm side of the spectrum. Anyone have any comparison shots? |

I use PP cavalry and generals with epic. No problem. |

I use PP cavalry and generals with epic. No problem. Likewise Peter, I use Kallistra for all my mounted and dismounted troops as well as Warlord mounted staff for army command. |

It is good to know that PP provides another choice. |

I agree with Jim I bought all Kalistra cavalry mounted and dismounted. I also used Kalistra foot command figures mixed in with the epic figures and they fit in just fine. Schulein I am glad Peter Pig works out as well as they have almost every General that was in the Civil War! My only complaint as they are a bit pricey. Oh well. |
