On Tuesday, 29 March, I ordered the addendum to the brilliant series on Flags and Standards of the Thirty Years. war from Caliver. Two days later, the 31st, it dropped through my letter box. Unfortunately it turned out to be a defective copy, with faded colour illustrations, so I e mailed Dave Ryan to inform him and ask for a replacement. He responded immediately and asked me to pop it back into the package and mark it Return to Sender. This I did. Today, 2nd April, I received a perfect copy. So from order to receipt of a replacement copy took a grand total of four days! Wow! Caliver and the UK post office take a bow. By the way, the book is amazing.
