What do folks here use for canyon terrain in their games please?

Thinking some of the Battlefield In A Box sets would work but are there alternative, preferably pre-painted, or easy to paint. Not looking for a DYO craft project.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Look for GeoHex on eBay. KR has a webstore there and is still making sets. The MountainScape would probably fit your needs

If my image of canyon terrain jibes with yours, I'm thinking you're looking for tall table edge rock walls. In truth,
"DIY/DYO" really would be the way to go.

You could go with model railroad rubber rock terrain, like:

But, given the cost you might be better off commissioning a DIY/DYO canyon display.

For a long canyon (I saw one about 15-20 feet long at a convention) I think you would have to go with a do-it-yourself project or pay somebody to build it for you.

For something shorter, you might use something like the Battlefield in a Box buttes placed opposite each other. If you look around, other people might make something similar to he bttes.
