link Lots of guesswork, but some interesting facts plus speculations. "Russia has had nearly as many combat vehicles destroyed as the number of men it admits losing. If you assume the destroyed tanks were manned, there are three dead Russians for each of those because we're seeing destroyed Russian tanks are all catastrophic kills involving the ready rack ammunition cooking off." |

Perhaps for some, though for some of the ambushes, I saw a lot of Russian running away from the vehicles. I couldn't tell if they were in them or not, before they were hit. Generally, I think the usual average is about 50% killed/wounded for each vehicle hit. |

In WWII the US loss rate for Sherman kills was about one soldier per tank. Burned out vehicles often do that after the crew leaves. Ukraine gets a mobility kill the Russians may bail before something else hits the tank and blows it up. Mike Bunkermeister Creek |

I'm guessing that the Ukrainians have also been shooting at Russians on foot, in aircraft (especially those in helicopters) and ships. Russian low-ball claims of casualties would be funny if it wasn't for all those poor young men who never signed up for this, |
