Last week we have managed to refight another historical battle, specifically the Battle of Teugn-Hausen, an opening battle from the 1809 Campaign. It is, in my view, an interesting battle to refight and one I was looking forward to revisiting. Teugn-Hausen is a small battle, at least when using Volley & Bayonet. The French comprise two or three divisions which are engaged against three or four Austrian divisions. To refight the battle, in the standard scale of the rules, a 6' x 4' table is required. However, as I use reduced scale with my 6mm miniatures the table required is just 3' x 2'. A short video of the engagement is online youtu.be/RrK9ZwoMJGA For those interested in larger games, with well over 3,000 miniatures, have a look at Altendorf, also on this channel. |

Thanks for your comments. The massed infantry bases are 1.5" square. The artillery are 3/4" in width. Miniatures are all from Heroics & Ros. |
