"Russians asked: Do you hate the US?" Topic

I'm not American, but for those in the west this is generally good news.

Vox pops can be misleading but this channel does very much give the impression that the average Russian has no love for Putin, generally likes the west and are not in favour of the war.

As a Russian channel the YouTuber has been 'demonetised', meaning he gets no ad revenue for his content. He continues to upload, probably at some personal risk, to give us an insight into what Russians are thinking.

Personally I applaud him for a valuable service.

Also they say that they love Ukrainians, that Ukrainians are their brothers and they are the same nation with Ukrainians.
They go to kill only those Ukrainians who love independent Ukraina and want to live in freedom. Which means that almost all Ukrainians.

The same thinking are toward Americans – only those Americans must die who defend their country and liberty. But who lets himself is a brother.

This video mostly shows the younger people from privileged centre and they talk almost the same things as blindfolded young soviets in Soviet Union – they have nothing against people in foreign countries, but they come to free these people from capitalist tyrants. Like they now liberate Ukrainians from "Kiev Junta", with bombing Ukrainian civilians to death, because Ukrainians don't wanted to be "liberated" by fascist occupants.

One interesting note, btw, there are almost no such privileged youth from muscovites centre in Ukraina, as Ukrainians report. Putin send only serfs from periphery areas to be a cannon fodder.

Before this war started I liked the Russians better as the Ukraine is a cesspool of corruption. I don't think this will end well for anyone. In the long run I think the Ukraines will resent the US for not stepping up a little more.
