Just before the invasion kicked off I read an interesting if rather tragic article about an Ukrainian army chaplain (priest?) and the issue of suicide among Ukrainian army veterans. Apparently the of ghost of the former Soviet Union, its treatment of dissidents as 'mentally ill', and attitudes to mental illness mean that they don't seek help. |
