For Putin it is a win-win. For every Chechen that dies it is one less Russian dead. And for each Chechen dead it is one less possible opponent in the future if Kadyrov tries to rebel.

How the Chechen should be treated I keep to myself. Lets just say that there would be very few wounded Chechens taken prisoner.
