Serious down-sizing. With the army losing so many men and equipment they need fewer generals and colonels.

Yes, so losing too many makes things even worse.

My only fear is that they will learn and maybe even become better at their trade. Lets hope for Russian incompetence and inability to think or act like true professionals.

That won't happen over night, regardless, the attrition of the Russian has to continue obviously …
