I posted a battle report on another site of a SYW scenario based on the battle of Reichenberg. I plan to run this game at Little Wars in April.

Glad to have helped!

That is a lovely, lovely looking mass of figures, even your dastardly Hapsburgs!-- Silesia is Prussian!

Seriously though, I wish you a great game at Little Wars!

An impressive game, Paul. I haven't tried Shako, but if you can get a big game like that done in three hours then I should.

Interested in your variations to Shako. We play A LOT of Shako 2 and dabbled with mods for 18th century. Still not convinced we have it right.

Jim here is Herkybird picture info.
Hi, nice looking game, if you want to show pictures from your blog all you need to do is right click on the picture and click 'copy image address' – then paste it into the TMP post with a space between it and other text and…

dantheman most of gaming ideas were stolen from Shako I so I wanted to give credit to Arty. I dumped all the command rules and any unit that Breaks makes an immediate Morale check failure the unit is removed. I also dumped the rules if a unit is staggered by fire when closing into melee it halts 1/4 inch away or whatever. I view the melee as close combat not actual crossing of bayonets but close in firing. This resolves combats very fast! Sort of winner take all format. After the last game I decided to change musketry to competitive dice roll going to spring that on the SYW Association Con guys. Poor Bleeped texts. I will report in on how that goes.

LOL, the quote was truncated! – all you need to do is copy the picture address from the blog pic you want to share, then go to 'Edit message' – which you can do for an hour after posting , and replace the 'url' at the beginning and end of the picture address with 'img'.
TMP can then tell its a picture and will show it as such, rather than just showing a link.
