All the Very British Civil War stuff I've seen is 28mm

Some of it strikes me as 1/72 plastic, hence the question.

It's totally 1/72, you are correct. The troops were mostly 1/72 (20mm) scale so we could reuse a lot of existing SCW Armored vehicles and such. The Rolls Royce AC you see in one of the pictures actually has FAI markings on it.

I'm not sure of the provenance of the plastics, I think most of them were either Caesar Miniatures or Hats with a minimalist paint job.
