Hello: I'm looking for elephants for a new Renaissance project; Portuguese in Ceylon and India. I am reading about it now and it's pretty fascinating. I've found elephants for the Roman era and only one for the Renaissance; Indus Miniatures. I sent an email for photos of their elephants but have not received a reply. Does anyone know of another source? Could the elephants have small guns mounted on their backs?? Here is a link to the company mentioned.

Would the ones from Wargames Foundry work?

I have a bunch of them of them and it seems they would work for all periods in India once you ditch the guys with guns

You could look at Gripping Beast's Timurid elephants – link

Irregular also do an Indian-looking Timurid elephant.

Also one at link but no picture.

Try searching eBay for mogul artillery elephant (Lurkio are selling the old BearsDen models which are quite cool with a light gun on a forked rest)
