Hello: I'm looking for elephants for a new Renaissance project; Portuguese in Ceylon and India. I am reading about it now and it's pretty fascinating. I've found elephants for the Roman era and only one for the Renaissance; Indus Miniatures. I sent an email for photos of their elephants but have not received a reply. Does anyone know of another source? Could the elephants have small guns mounted on their backs?? Here is a link to the company mentioned.

I have a bunch of them of them and it seems they would work for all periods in India once you ditch the guys with guns |

You could look at Gripping Beast's Timurid elephants – link Irregular also do an Indian-looking Timurid elephant. Also one at link but no picture. |

Try searching eBay for mogul artillery elephant (Lurkio are selling the old BearsDen models which are quite cool with a light gun on a forked rest) |
