Some recent additions for our early war 1940 campaign. These are all 1/72 (20mm) kits from s-models, except for one of the PzI which is the very old kit from Fujimi. I'm a fan of the s-models kits, you get a good balance between ease of build and detail. Some parts may prove a bit delicate if you're heavy-handed when gaming, but I haven't had any issues, overall there is more to like than dislike.

I have a fancy for early tanks. Great job. (a real MkII would be a dream to have) |

I've always had a fondness for the Pz-II. Good job on the detailing of all of these tanks. Jim |

Beautiful painting TP, are these meant for COC? |

Beautiful painting TP, are these meant for COC? Thanks. Yes, we're playing the Many Rivers to Cross campaign set in the Netherlands in 1940. I've had these made and primed for a while but the campaign was the incentive to get them finished and ready for the table. |

I was just checking your site out again. Love your early war tanks in all of their wonderful variety. Something about the quirky little fellows really appeals to me. Hopefully I will be following your example. Ive just received an order for some 20mm 1940 French and once they are finished will start on my early war Germans. I'm a slow painter and O-group has taken most of my time of late but hope to have them finished in time for the summer campaigning season. Thanks for sharing! |
