Anyone have minis from both ranges, and have done a size comparison between the two? I know the Red3 minis are 1/150th scale, and that the Minifigs are N scale, but can't recall if the latter are 1/150th, or 1/160th, so would like to know if they are compatible in size? Also curious about peoples' thoughts on the quality of both too. I know the Red3 are superb, and some of the later Minifigs sculpts look quite good, so am seeking opinions for both. |

The GFI/Minifigs moderns are 1:160th scale. I do not have any Red3 to compare with. |

Thanks Tom. That's what I thought I remembered, but was also thinking 1/150th too, since some others are in that scale. |

Most other companies I have seen are very close. 1/150th may be just a bit larger, but if you do not fight with micrometers, you just might not care during the HEAT of battle. (HEAT- get it?) 8>) I have seen pictures of Red3 and they look pretty nice as well. (Of course, I may just a bit tainted….) In any case, hope you enjoy the scale to game in. |
