I decided to try my hand at YouTube with a look at the AD&D Monster Manual. The first full video is an introduction covering the Forward, Preface, and Explanatory Notes. My first lesson learned is that video editing is challenging! The second is that making a thumbnail image is also challenging!

Let's Start a New Venture – YouTube! at the Over the Hill Gaming blog

The link above goes to my blog – as usual – which has a link to YouTube. I wasn't sure about how the board rules would work with linking directly to the video.

Congratulations on your new endeavor. I really like your channel name and site description. I have never made any videos so I admire those that do.
I am still trying to figure out why I can't leave a comment on any videos. I am using the free YouTube service not paid.

Thank you! I'm not sure why you can't leave comments – they are turned on and someone else left one for another video on my channel.

On a related note, someone was kind enough to point out that the end of the video was cut off. I figured out the issue – an error I made while rendering the video. A corrected version will be uploaded by tomorrow. I'll provide a link in the original video description and my blog.
