Does anyone know a good source of 28mm figures of US Army combat engineers for 1943-44? I see the Warlord flamethrower team but little else. No mine detectors. No bangalore torpedoes etc. Can anyone give me a steer? |

The Warlord "Rangers Lead the Way" kit had metal bits for the plastic figures including a flamethrower, bangalors, web/pouches with axe, pickax, shovel, wire cuter, flashlight, radio, generic heads with goggles, and supposedly the Saving Private Ryan cast but I never could see the resemblance. |

3D Breed miniatures have a set of US Engineers that match with warlord plastics well if you tweak the print settings. link |

Empress miniatures have a few engineers in one of their US GI packets. I think one has a mine detector, one has a flame thrower, one guy has a demo bag, and a guy is digging with a shovel. Their figures are excellent by the way. |
