yarkshiregamer.blogspot.com/2022/02/troops-on-parade-28mm-ww1-turkish-army.html A while back I posted up a Troops on Parade feature on my WW1 Mesopotamia British and Empire force so I thought it was about time I featured their opposition, the Turkish Army. All 28mm and mostly from Woodbine Design Company (full details on blog post and Utubes video, link above), there are 8 Infantry Battalions, 2 Cavalry units and 4 Guns. These see action at least once a year in our traditional Xmas Game where we recreate one of thr battles from the WW1 Mesopotamia Campaign. Thanks for watching, Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

Impressive collection Ken. It's a long way to Christmas but maybe they will see action before then. |

Very nice. I've been fascinated with the Mesopotamian Campaign for the last 30 odd years so it's a treat to see more figures for the period. |

Troops from one of history's most compelling theaters of war. A very fine collection you have there. |

Question for you that I couldn't find the answer to on your blog. What rules do you use for gaming in the Mesopotamia Campaign? |

Thanks everyone, Lascaris, we use If the Lord Spares Us by TFL, it should be on most of the posts. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |
