Nice work on the ALN.

Thanks. The Battlezone US Raiders are very useful figures. They'd do well for Cuba in the 50s and 60s and also the Greek Civil War amongst other conflicts.

I had never heard od Slaine until the Warlord release and they struck me as very Celtos inspired. I am not sure how popular Slaine is in the US. I also wonder if this is just a "fire and forget" money grab and on to the next new game.

Hmmm, where did Battlezone come from? (For those of us who have never heard of them.) Those figures are the old Sgt Majors Miniatures Filippino Guerillas and Cabanatuan Raiders figures. I thought EWM was re-releasing the former Sgt Majors Miniatures ranges, at least I saw some of the WWII on the EWM site.

BTW, liked your jungle scatter.

I'm curious about Slaine rules myself. I ordered The Horned God just to learn a bit about the subject.

Wargaming USA –
Yes they are indeed the old Sgt Majors figures. I'm not sure who has what of those ranges. I know Steve at Battlezone works closely with Paul at EWM on joint projects. So far Battlezone only seem to be releasing the US and Red Army ranges.
Deucey-The Horned God book is a good place to start.

At one point I noted some the Sgt Majors Japanese amongst the EWM listings – different codes 'n such. Very resourceful the way you used the Sgt Majors figs to make up your Algerian contingent.
