Phase II: The attack is going in hard on the German right flank. "Bags of smoke and flank left" as I think the British Army expression goes, plus a huge concentration of the British PBI force, three infantry companies attacking to one defending certainly helps. 75% of the British battalion are hitting at this point here .. ouch .. (see below, top of photo, another close combat goes in against the middle German platoon)…

Pub Battles!

Not WWII below Bill, but some similar, hex grid gaming I've got planned for this weekend – 3D Battle Cry, on my new fleece mats, which allow hills to be put underneath the fabric for that smooooooth contour look.

In between the designing and painting up for those main feature games planned, lots of fun and fast gaming can be had in the meantime with some excellent hex/area-based wargames done up in 3D for the visual effect.

(Commands & Colors Battle Cry – Williamsburg scenario set up here, but actually playing Wilson's Creek, and a user-created scenario of a portion of that battlefield named Sharp's Cornfield – so one grand tactical [big battle game], and one more tactical scenario planned on these roll-out mats)
