Hello,

after a hard fight with removing flash at 20mm plastic figures, I try to use a hot wire cutter for that. It worked, but I need something more "handy". A sharp scalpel was not good for this kind of plastic.
There are offers for electric hot blades at the internet. Some offer a temperature betwen 0° and up to 600° C..
This hot blades have cables, I will give them a try. Has anybody here try something like that?

There are tools called pyro gravure.

It might be worth investigating them.

I've heated up a metal pin or a blade before and used that. Sometimes I just let it go because trying to remove the flash makes it look worse.

A hot blade will take off the flash, head, arm, and more.

For me, a very sharp knife is the best bet.

There is a tool called a cauterizing pen that might work well.

Like the Pyro Gravure but on a smaller scale.
