A mad busy day ahead, so my brain decides to wake up at silly o'clock in the morning. So, some three hours earlier than usual, is this week's post which revisits (and expands) my Royalist artillery train. link

Your guns look a little modern for ECW.

I would expect a bit more like this.

Remember these are minions so look quite modern in appearance. Peter Pig made them, I just painted them.

Don't look too dissimilar to this


I did try the neat black paint on metalwork but it just looked really flat and not right. Changed to Foundry blackened barrel to give a 'not quite black with a hint of metal' look. Works much better. Pieces have more texture and depth to them.
