I recently painted a commission for a 28mm metal Classic AD&D Kobolds force, with Officers, Command, Troops, Civilians and Wounded Kobolds. All figures were on hand-made dungeon bases, ready for D&D adventures! The Officers were painted to my high Collector's 'Officer' level, with the Command painted to my Collector's 'NCO' level and the Troops and Civilians painted to my high Wargaming 'Call to Arms' level. To find out more click here: link I loved working on this project, it was so great to research and enjoy the classic D&D art. Kobolds are such fun and it was great to paint a whole force of them! If you are interested in a collection of your own, just let me know. Thanks guys!

Those kobolds ain't wounded. They're shamming. You get close enough, they yank the rope you can't see, and the whole blasted ceiling comes down on your head. Nasty little brutes. Well done paint jobs. I love DMing with kobolds. And my players *hate* ‘em. Which is exactly as it should be. |

Reaper makes superb Kobolds, IMO. I have around 40 of their Bones Barkscale models, plus the leader figures from that line. Here is a link to all of their Kobolds. Unfortunately, mine are only around 50% painted. I'm trying to do them per Gary Gygax's 1977 1e AD&D Monster Manual description. They paint up nicely, but I've got too many projects in the queue. Anyway, thanks for posting and sharing! Cheers! |

Nicely done, good painters are hard to find with a reasonable price range. |

I have about 30 reaper kolbald half painted, dont look quite as nice as your. Im working on trying to get a full set of ( 20 or 30 or so) of each of the classic monsters for dnd, Kolbalds, Goblins, orc, lizardmen ect so that everthing has enought for run a battle with. I like the reaper kolbalds, very classic old school, now days when people say kolbalds, they are little dragon men, which are great, but they are not kolbalds, they are something else, little dragon men which deserve there own name. Thks for posting |
