I need some help. I need four 20mm/1/72 3" Rodman rifled guns for my(plastic) ACW forces.

I would like to buy them from a US source to avoid the substantial overseas shipping charges for just four guns. I've been all over the interwebs checking out all the manufacturers in that scale and I can't seem to find any in the US. Plus those that do have "artillery" listed don't have pictures so I'm not sure what I'd be getting.

I've looked at, for example, Plastic Soldier Review, Jacklex, Newline, SHQ, Kennington, K & L, Irregular, Wodensfeld and others without satisfaction.

One US manufacturer, RSM95(Dayton Painting Consortium) has 4 guns for $5.00 USD which is exactly what I need. However, no pics, so I don't know if I ordered them if 4 Napoleons would show up on my doorstep.

So my question is can anyone point me in the right direction for a source for these guns?

Thanks in advance.grin

Email DPC and ask them to send you a pic.

Since there is no description, I would tend to expect napoleons. But as I recall, the K&L artillery is very good regardless..

I purchased some good 20mm Rodmans from Thomas Industries in Oklahoma about a decade ago, but I think the company is gone now.

Check out the RAFM web site – Canadian company. Have 25 Rodman's that look smaller than 25mm. May suit what you are looking for.

Thanks for the input guys. I decided to take 79thPA's advice; I sent off an email which was promptly answered, which led to a quick phone call, and bingo bango Bob's your uncle, an order was placed. I went in search of 3" Rodmans and ended up with them along with some Napoleons AND supply wagons, spending more than I planned but quite pleased nonetheless.

And as a bonus, DPC is in a neighboring state, so there shouldn't be any excessive shipping costs or "supply chain difficulties". So my Monday is off to a great start…how often do you get to say that? grin

Excellent news.

RAFM does a 25MM rifle that matches up beautifully with 20mm figs. Same with their Parrot. The Kennington/SHQ has a "Napoleon" whose barrel shape is really a Rodman.

The RSM gun carriages and limbers are fabulous and inexpensive. Barrels are a bit weak.

Caution on RAFM limbers, horses and riders. Beautiful models but too big for 20mm
