I was wondering if anyone here has had any dealings with Game Box Painting service? I found them on eBay. They seem reasonably priced and they have a 100% rating as a seller. Thoughts? |

Chinese/Hong Kong painteers do a perfectly fine to great quality paint job on what are most likely recast figures. For great price to quality ratios, check out Fernando in Sri Lanka (you need to supply the minis). |

I'm tracking Fernando too. Just want to know my options for a large order. Thanks. |

I send very large orders to Fernando of around 1000 figures or so. I'm sending in my 4th order next week. They do great work and the figures are sent back in very well padded and packed shipments. The large orders take about 6 weeks or so to complete. Very good painters. |

I've had great results from Fernando. |

I would avoid Chinese painting services because most likely pirated figures made of a cheaper weaker lead. |

I totally agree with Fredloan, stay away from the Chinese painting services. Like so many other things /products, they have zero respect for licensing fees or copyrights. Every figure bought from these Chinese painting services takes money from the wallets of legitimate manufacturers. I've also heard good things from Fernando's service. Would anyone be willing to share some photos of troops they have gotten from him? If so, please identify which grade they are (I.e. "collector", "wargamer", etc.). Although I still paint, I'll never get through my lead mountain on my own, so I've been considering finding a service. |
