I posted a report of my first game in a solo campaign of Silver Bayonet. It's about a group of Polish "deserters" in Haiti and their local allies fighting supernatural forces.

Nice looking table.

A great AAR and simply marvelous paintjobs and terrain. I'm working on a French and an Austrian unit right now, along with some Revenants (GW zombies "Napoleonic-ified" with some shakos, knapsacks, etc) – going to use Scenario 2 to introduce the rules to the club. Then next a pack of bandits and a Changeling for Scenario 7.

This is one of those games that I would prefer to see someone play, or play myself at a convention. I saw one guy's youtube video and it really turned me off to the rules, but I think there is something there.

I also saw a youtube play through and wasn't wow'd but we did a play through and it wasn't like the 'tube, it was better. I'm sure we goofed on some stuff but it ran quicker than they made it look.

It certainly looks intriguing. There's a nice range of figures too. Ideal for other historical skirmish games. Okay
