Just painted up a couple of Tumbling Dice 1/600 Eindecker E/IIIs ahead of my forthcoming Western Front campaign set in late summer 1915.

Feldflieger Abteilung 8E, under the command of Rittmaster Max Zimmermann will contest the skies over the Betancourt Sector, south of Arras. Opposing them will be 'B' Flight, 76 Squadron RFC.

Nice work.

Nick beautiful work. I love those Tumbling Dice biplanes but they are a little fiddly and IIRC they don't have strut supports between the wings. I tried to insert pins as struts but mashed that up pretty good.

Cheers guys for the kind words. I received the Albatros C/Is this afternoon and was so eager I had them painted up by this evening, though I converted two of them to Aviatik C/Is by simply filing down the fins to change the profiles. Looks like we'll be able to start our campaign at the weekend.
