Nice table (I like the doggie fountain and egg castle). The game sounds like a nail biter with a climatic ending. Nicely done. |

Weird, and interesting! Can't see much of the figures, but the description and "St Trinians Ninja Wayward Girls" scary enough anyway. Great work on the scenery, nice to see the innovation out there! I still have my real old '70s ones that could do with a tune up! cheers dave |

Ingenious!! I've been looking for 25mm Asian schoolgirls (preferably in uniforms) who can serve as judo masters/kung fu girls -- where did you get your girl ninjas from, and can we see some more images? PS: How DO the Dutch pronounce "Gouda?" Not, presumably, "Goo-dah?" As I've always heard and said it. Wrong? |

Thanks. Most of the ninjas are the Nightshade HeroClix. There are several other 'Clix in there, like a She Hulk in her lawyer outfit as the headmistress. Gouda is pronounced "HOW-dah". The "H" is slightly guttural, but only slightly. If you pronounced it like the word howdah, people would know where you are talking about. Or what you are talking about, if it's the cheese. To be fair, pronouncing words from different languages is a horrible process for those who are the best at it. Proper nouns are the worst of the worst. |

That's interesting. English-speakers are always anglicizing foreign words. Sometimes it's just a given ("Par-iss" over "Pa-ree"), sometimes it's dismissive of the original (what Texans do to Spanish place names is plain nuts, if not insulting), sometimes it's just confusing -- in classical studies, we are presented with anglicized versions of Latinized forms of ancient Greek words that are also not in agreement with modern Greek. Impossible! Thanks for the referrals above! |

Glad to help. English is not the only language to butcher or ignore the preferences of another language. It's a universal thing. The easiest example is that Germany – Deutschland – is Alemania, based on a 3rd century kingdom/empire in that area. That's neither good nor bad. It just is. All language is arbirtrary. |
