A solo mini campaign, for a Japanese force trying to reach safety in the final days of the Second World War

They have to dodge Burmese Guerrillas, and Allied infantry and armour. Oh yes and avoid the air strikes.

Great concept for a solo campaign!

Yes I tried to do it from a different perspective :-) Glad you liked it

I'm glad to see you are still at Mr Webster!

An interesting scenario.

Jim Webster10 Jan 2022 10:23 a.m. PST

I hope so. Given that the Allied forces were waiting for them as well, only losing 50% is probably a genuine achievement!

Royston Papworth10 Jan 2022 12:30 p.m. PST

wasn't there a scenario like that in MW several decades ago…?there

Probably written by the aforementioned Mr Webster….

Jim Webster10 Jan 2022 1:18 p.m. PST

Yes, I mention it somewhere in the scenario, A version of it first appeared in Miniature Wargames back in the 1980s. I've tweaked it variously since.

It was indeed written by the aforementioned Mr Webster :-)
