"Russian soldiers have deployed to the city of Timbuktu in northern Mali to train Malian forces at a base vacated by French troops last month, Mali's army spokesperson said on January 6. Mali's government said last month that "Russian trainers" had arrived in the country, but Bamako and Moscow have so far provided few details on the deployment, including the number of deployed Russians. Last month, over a dozen Western countries strongly condemned the deployment in Mali of Russian mercenaries working for the Vagner group, accusing Moscow of providing material backing for the fighters…." No surprise … Putin again is taking full advantage of the current geopolitical situation. Last month, over a dozen Western countries strongly condemned the deployment in Mali of Russian mercenaries working for the Vagner group, I'm sure Putin was shaking in his boots … No harshly worded letter from the UN ? |

Harshly worded letters are now banned under the new, kinder/gentler ethos, since those are considered to be bullying. I do find it interesting that some bullying IS still acceptable, and being pushed hard by various factions who dare to speak out about virus mandates though, both here in the USA, and overseas in France, amongst others. Apparently, those have been given a pass. |

Have we tried asking for Putin's manager? |
HMS Exeter | 07 Jan 2022 9:08 p.m. PST |
Lemme me see if I have this right. 1. Putin has regular army units garrisoning the Ukraine Crimea. 2. Putin has regular army units staged and ready to intervene in Georgia, Chechnya and Dagestan, as needed. 3. Putin has regular army units staged to menace the Baltic states or intervene in Belarus as needed. 4. Putin has regular army units deployed near the Chinese Frontier. 5. Putin has regular army units in Tajikistan. 6. Putin has regular army units in Kazakhstan. 7. Putin has a mixed force in Ukrainian Donbass. 8. Putin has mercenary/paramilitary groups in Syria, and now Mali. 9. Putin has a modest special ops presence in Venezuela. Did I miss anything? |

Have you ever thought about where the world might be, if Putin had been born in the US? |
Legion 4 | 08 Jan 2022 8:14 a.m. PST |
He'd be running a deli in NYC … "Moscow on the Hudson" … Did I miss anything? He may be using the threat of an invasion of the Ukraine as a diversion for all his other "skullduggery" worldwide. He was KGB. Once KGB always KGB. |

I wonder what we'd have to offer in order to get him to send some of his troops to Chicago to straighten out things there? |
WarpSpeed | 08 Jan 2022 3:09 p.m. PST |
Thresher,Chicago has become the equivalent of a warhammer 40k urban underhive because "PC" attitudes allowed the criminal elements to entrench themselves throughout society. The gangland culture celebrated in the streets is certainly not the one Al and the boys would recognize today. So the answer to a modern day problem with a WH 40k answer is to virus bomb it. |

Only the USA should have troops and bases everywhere? But guys China is soon to be the first power, and a trade by sea nation type, which will have to follow the old burdens of such types as the past shows. After pushing Russia (who has only a GDp a bit higher than France if memory is right?) Into its arms, no wonder they are used as competent proxies to fill the voids of unwilling, gutless former nations. It might not be good for us. No idea yet. |

The problem of citing mainstream media networks of any NATO country is all you get is propaganda and fear porn. If they're not teaching you to hate someone, it is to fear someone else. A large percentage of the public, (including HMS Exeter) mistakenly believe Russia is forcibly occupying Crimea. No matter how many times they are corrected, they will still recite the propaganda and then defend it. Russia should be putting troops on its border. If troops don't belong on their side of a border, then where else do they belong? You cry about them being outside the country when they're invited in (see Syria and Kazakhstan)and then cry that they're at home in a stand off with NATO. The Baltic borders Russia, it does not border the Unites States, the U.K. or France. Neither does the Black Sea. NATO has a history of being the aggressor. NATO nations (predominantly lead by the CIA, MI6 and Mossad) love their color revolutions where elected governments are overthrown for friendlier puppet states. But I'm supposed to worry myself over Russia? If Putin was half as powerful and devious as various government funded media tell us he is, then we're all out-classed because we're lead by morons. |

Only the USA should have troops and bases everywhere? At last unclassified count the US military is in about 130+ counties, a number failing or failed states. It seems many want the US there, as where the Uncle Sam goes so does his tax payers' $. USD 💰💰💰💰 E.g. A'stan & Iraq. Many local economies were negatively affected after the US Military pulled most of it's forces out of Germany, etc. Would Russia and the PRC/CCP be a better choice in those counties and many failed/failing nation ? It seems especially with the PRC/CCP this is happening anyway. we're all out-classed because we're lead by morons. That seems to be the case, especially now … |

"NATO has a history of being the aggressor". Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!! Thanks for the belly laugh this morning, TPW15mm. Exactly which European, and/or Warsaw Pact nations did NATO invade and forcefully occupy against their will after WWII and/or during the Cold War? Your historical revisionism and propaganda would be really appreciated by both Baghdad Bob and Jen Psaki. |

It seems many want the US there, Yeah they're wanted when the money is threatened to be shut off. I'm sure the Germans can squeak by on just their economy. As for any country getting US aid I don't hear joe on the street asking but more likely some gov't mouthpiece. Those swiss bank accounts gotta keep up. |
