Does anyone make 28mm miniatures that could be used for Spanish Artillery crews during the AWI, specifically Pensacola 1781?

Without ooking, were Spanish gunners uniformed differently than other nations? My impression is that they all looked very similar. Correct me if I am wrong?

The Dayton Painting Consortium also carries the old London War Room Spanish SYW line if that is of any help.

Bill N's image jibes pretty well with the illustrations in Cranz' Uniformology Book 8. I don't have a copy of 25.

Cranz' images show yellow hat trim, yellow piping on the collar and waistcoat and blue breaches, matching the coat. Bill N's image has no rear view. Cranz shows red turnbacks.

Cranz has an officer image too, which is much the same, buf with red coat lapels, piped in yellow, and a larger red cockade bound vertically with a central yellow band.

My understanding is that the Spanish followed the French uniform patterns except for some differences in headgear. You should be OK with French gunners. Or you could find some gunners in working dress, such as the Minden civilian laborers whose implements are separate [CIV-003 at link ] They would probably be more likely considering the climate of the Gulf Coast.

The Dayton Painting Consortium (AKA RSM-95) Spanish figures are at: dpcltdcom.org/rsm95_010.htm . I have a bunch of them procured from their original manufacturer The London Warroom and they are very compatible with other 28mm SYW era figures. See link
