Pakistan has officially confirmed its long-speculated acquisition of the Chinese J-10C Firebird fighter jet, which is slated to arrive in time to take part in the March 23 Pakistan Day Parade…

Pakistan has been getting weapons of all types from Russia, China, USA, etc. Arms sales are big money makers.

The only ones who really should be concerned about the J-10s. Are India, I think they are more than capable of their own defense.

Made in China. Good luck with those.

Do they have a warrantee? 90 day return policy ?

Here, my first thought was that the Chinese had collected a nice horde of those great cars which are now extinct.

Never heard of the J-10s as "Firebirds" before, but I do like the looks of them, and they look to be reasonably capable aircraft.

A weapons system is only as good as the crew or trooper behind it. The PRC's military is still an unknown quality, in many respects. Of course, they do have numbers to make up the difference in some/many cases.

But don't underestimate them …
