Iranian hardliners have two skills: Getting their domestic supporters riled up to ensure their political power base. Getting parts of the U.S. public riled up and screaming to their politicians, who make all sorts of hostile statements about Iran, which the hardliners use as proof of U.S. hostility to get their supporters riled up, to shore up their domestic power base. |

Most of what they say is for "local consumption". And they are backed by the IRGC, which should be considered a terrorist organization/mob. Frankly most in the USA wouldn't know anything about Iran, Soleimani ☠, the mullahs, the IRGC, etc., etc. if they saw it. AFAIK the USA's leadership is saying little about this saber rattling, propaganda, etc. I'm not sure if it is on purpose or not ? Again, Iran's leadership is a few drone strikes away from
